day 106 mount cook

We stayed this night at a free campground with heaps of other campers but quite far away. Peter did a small swim in the lake yesterday, cause he failed to throw the Frisbee to me. We went after a good breakfast back on the road, around another lake and into the biggest mountains area in New Zealand. The region is quite different to the north Ireland and much more impressive I guess. The colors are unbelievable, very hard to describe and much more harder to believe. Anyway, the weather was pretty good at the beginning but the smaller the distance through our destination mount Cook was, the more worse it was. Our plan was to make a track to the glacier and we did it but the hole time with heaps of wind and rain. The glacier wasn't that expensive maybe just because the weather but the track was pretty good.

In the evening we stayed at another campground with a washing machine and two girls from Germany who were able to play Doppelkopf with us. It was really funny because they are used to play it quite differently.
