We spent the last night next to a lake and I was quite happy that I haven't killed any animals on the way with the car.

First of all we decided to drive in the mountains to see a little bit more than just the flat area around Christchurch. We have seen some old cave paintings and after that the most beautiful lake I have ever seen. The color of the lake is hard to believe cause its just too bright and blue.
